Plenary session/Lectures

Professional lectures will be given almost daily. From those sessions, participants are expected to gain knowledge that will broaden their vision and experience.

The above sessions will also include triggers for the following sessions.

Small working groups session, presentation

Small working group session will be held after several lectures. In these sessions, participants are expected to focus on what they have learned during ACTION programme.

At the end of these sessions, each small group will give a speech or presentation about what they’ve learned during these sessions in order to share knowledge within participants.

Daily Review discussion

Small group discussion will further assist participants in acquiring a deeper understanding on the given lectures and also to expand the knowledge acquired from the lecture.

Field trip, group presentation

Participants will conduct a field trip, most possibly to a displaced camp, where they will be expected to investigate how to use knowledge they have learnt during the training workshop on displaced population managements.

After this experience, each group will be required to give a presentation about what they have focused on during this field tour.

Pre-follow-up activities session (Training session, planning session)

This session includes the discrimination of follow-up activities and plan the Plan of Action (PoA) as one of the important outcomes from the workshop; for the purpose of spreading knowledge, skills and motivation to future-healthcare professionals

In addition, participants will be given various skills during this training, which includes: project management skill and leadership skill. This method will help them to coordinate follow-up projects after they return to their home countries.

Evaluation

On the last day, there will be an evaluation of the project. Participants will fill in the evaluation sheet in order to monitor problems and find room for improvement.

Also, participants will be expected to answer post-project tests to identify how far their knowledge and skills have improved compared with before attending the project.

Social programs

Sightseeing, opening/closing parties, and getting along between participants.
