I was forwarded your message by one of our dealers in the USA, Airtech
Inc. I
am writing you from Quicksilver Manufacturing Inc., in the USA We are
the company that actually manufactures the Quicksilver line of
ultralight aircraft.
In regard to your request I am happy to help. The factory direct price
for the two seat MXL II Sport kit complete with Rotax 582 engine mounts
but "without" the actual Rotax 582 engine and radiators is $□□□.00
usd. This includes packaging for export shipment. It also includes our
making all the shipping arrangements for you.
As mentioned the kit does come with engine mounts, throttle cables and
propeller. The only items removed are the Rotax engine, gearbox,
carburetors, exhaust system and Rotax radiator as you would receive them
from any Rotax dealer.
If you do "not" require the propeller, the kit comes with a 2 blade
wooden propeller for the 582"B" version engine, you can subtract an
additional $□□ usd. Without propeller the total price would be
$□□□.00 usd.
Based on my experience I would estimate ocean freight shipping from my
door to the major ocean port nearest you in Japan should be about
$□□.00
- $□□.00 usd. Air freight shipping from my door to the airport in
Osaka or Tokyo should be about $□□.00 - $□□.00 usd. Once we confirm
the details of your order and where exactly in Japan you are located, I
can get you an exact shipping quote. Please advise if you prefer air or
ocean freight shipping, advise what is the nearest major ocean port or
airport to your location and also advise how many kilometers away you
are located from the air or ocean port. Ocean freight shipping takes
about 12 - 15 days. Air freight takes about 3 - 5 days.
If I may ask, how did you come to be asking about the MXL II Sport? Do
you
have experience flying Quicksilver ultralights or any other type of
ultralight aircraft? I do understand that you are a private pilot. It
will be easy for you to fly the MXL II Sport.
I have attached the proforma invoice and our banking details. Please
forward payment and advise by return. Upon your advising we will
reserve the MXL II Sport for you. Delivery time is about 2 weeks.
