アニメロサンゼルス2012 Anime Los Angeles 2012 Dairy of Mikarin
Fri-Sat, 6-8 January 2012 @ LAX Mariot Hotel 今年、MikarinはMomotamaと称する音楽デュオにて、このALAにて2回のコンサートタイムを、そして、Mikarinと羽治は、パネルをひとつ、そしてそして、同ふたりはマスカレードのハーフタイムでパフォーマンスをいたしました。自由時間は専ら、友人のパネルにでかけました。というわけで、コンベンション全体のレポートと言うよりも、イベント参加者の日記、という感じでこれを読んでいただければ、幸いです。 In Anime LA 2012, Mikarin's music group was allowed for two concert times, Mikarin & Hagi hosted one panel and performed in masquerade half time. It was very busy!! So we decided to write diary of "buys anime convention participants," instead of our actual convention coverage. |

Jan 6, Friday,.
  Music performance schedule Restfoom sign 11時半くらいに会場ホテルに到着したMikarin & Hagi。駐車場がなくて、ぐるぐるホテルの周りを回らされた後、ようやく従業員駐車場（！）車を停められたよ。しかし、キーボード、椅子、譜面立てという大荷物をかかえ、なかなかコンベンションのレジストレーションまで行かれず、廊下で一息していたらMomotamaメンバーのTAMAに会いました。彼もギターを2台背負ってたのに、お手伝いしてもらいました。そうして、レジストをすませ、いよいよ会場へ。ミュージックプログラムのトップバッターでしたから、悠々セットアップをいたしました。ALAの音響スタッフの方々は大変親切でやさしく、助かりました。1時半に開演。お客様は少なかったけどTT,素敵なPAで大変歌いやすかったです。TAMAと羽治はそれぞれ夜からお仕事があり、Mikarinを残して去って行きました。 その後、お片づけをして、少しだけコスプレをしたり、コンベンションでしかあえないお友達に会ったり。翌日に備え、その後すぐに帰宅したのでした。 Hagi & Mikarin arrived @ hotel around 11:30 am? But there was no parking!! It took us a while but hotel people allow us to park in the hotel staff parking so we could get inside with Key board, chair, music stand and costume piieces. We met another Momotama member TAMA, and he helped us even though he had 2 guitars on his back. After the registeration, we went to music performance room. This room was separated from other activity room so we could set up without any interference. Besides, we were the first one to perform in ALA 2012! ALA music staff people were so kind and helpful so we were so spoiled setting up XD. @ 1:30 pm, we started our concert. Not many peop,le came, but PA was very crisp and easy to sing/play so Momotama had such a great time. Thank you! |

Jan 7, Saturday Panel "Anime Song 101" hosted by Mikarin & Takeriya_Haji 毎朝起きたら、コンベンション会場へ。この日は11時にマスカレードのパフォーマンスのサウンドチェックがあったので、11時までに会場入り。でもやっぱり駐車場がなかったお。しかし！ お祈りしたら、ひとつだけ開いてました。アーメンです。そうして、またまたパネルで使うためキーボードをかついで会場へ。サウンドチェックが他のパフォーマンスタイムと重なっていたため、うまくいかず、一音も歌わずして本番に臨むことに…。気を取り直して、廊下でレイヤー友たちと少し歓談した後、パネルの準備入ります。 So we were commuting all three days and the parking was always the issue. But the Lord was good for us. We somehow found a space to park next to where someone parked giagonally lol. Again with keyboard, we went into the masquerade sound check but it didn't work out because of music program was going on next door :O Anyway, we went to hall and talked to our friends a bit, then went into the panel preparation :D.   ALAに集う、素敵なレイヤーさんたち＠廊下。 それで、午後、2時から、うちらのパネル「アニソンを日本語で歌ってみる、入門編」 （Anime Song Singing 101)。プログラムオペレーションの皆様には大変お世話になりました。何から何までお世話をしていただきまして、ようやく、ALAでは初めてのうちらのパネルが実現したわけです。本当にありがたや〜。初めてなので1時間ということでしたが、やはり発声・リズム・日本語の発音・そして実際に歌う、というのを詰め込むには無理がありましたね。今度はぜひもう３０分ほど長く取らせていただいて、更にこのパネルを改良していきたいと思います。一人でも多くのアメリカのファンの方々にアニソンに親しんでもらえればうれしいです。 From 2pm, we had our first Panel in ALA. First time there, so, I was clueless. But program op room people were amazing! The showed us everything, even the short cut way to carry our keyboard in. And they made sure we run our panel. Thank you, thank you!! wow!! Well, we had a great time and we wanna come back, again with a little bit more time next year because it was about "Anime song singing in Japanese" so we just needed a little bit more time to cover vocalization/prounciation/actual singing. For the pople who came to our panel, thank you very much! You did great! その後、あっというまにマスカレード（コスプレコンテスト）の集合時間がやってまいりました。今年はハーフタイムにてのパフォーマンスということで審査がありません。もう、だらだらにリラックス。ひたすら楽しんでしまいました。ALAのマスカレードのバックステージは参加するレイヤーさんのことを第一に考えた設置で、コスのお直し用品から食料や水なども常備しています。 （もちろんマスカレードだけではなく、ALAは、レイヤーさんに特別優しいコンベンションですので、コンベンション開催時は常にコス修繕所なるお部屋が設けられており、そこにそれぞれの方面のプロの方がいてコス、プロップ、ウィッグにいたるまで、を直したり、完成させたりできるようになっているのですよ。驚きですよね） でもやっぱサウンドが問題に…。うちらの出番になってキーボードの設置がうまくいかなくて、時間がどんどん経過。舞台裏でハラハラ。その間司会の方がずっと場をつないでくださっていたのでした。あの時はまじで目から水が・・・しかし、いろいろなストレスで羽治はぼろぼろでした。それで演目をひとつぶっ飛ばしたり、パフォーマンス自体は本当に申し訳ないできばえとなってしまったのでした。いろんな理由からそれはそうなったんですけど、でも問題はそこではなくて、客席にいてくださった皆様が本当に何でも許して楽しんでくださったってところです。こんな奇跡があっていいのかと思いました。だから、何がどうなったとしても、あの日あの時、ALAのステージに立てて、本当によかったと思ったのでした。もうスタッフさんから、観客席の皆様、そしてコンテストのバックステージの皆さんにいたるまで、すばらしくて。また、目から水が・・・。本当にありがとうございました。それに、自分のコスの帯が取れて、ガムテまでいただいて、すみませんでした。（Mikarinは実はその前の年はパンツのすそ破って、やっぱりガムテもらってました。デジャビュー）。 The time flew so fast! By the time I watch the clock, it was masquerade call time! So we went to the masquerade green room. As a half time performer, thank you, that there are no judging! Plus ALA masq green room is such a fun place. We totally relaxed, had fun, great food, enough water plus the cosplay repair gear was there. Of course many faces of our cosplay friends were there smiling. wow! (Not only masq greenroom! ALA has cosplay repair room opened for entire convention time with full equipments and skillful people to help your cosplay. It is totally amazing!) However.... yeah, sound was the issue on this day, from the morning. So it was about the time for us to go on the stage but my keyboard didn't make sound! So sound people worked so so hard for that, and also Tadao-san, the master of ceremony was amusing audience people entire time. I was almost crying behind the stage being touched by his great heart. Well, for some reasons, Takeriya _hagi and I couldn't really perform well that night ...so sorry...but we were so supported by everyone there. Espceially, people in the audience sheet were so so sweet. The way they people sung with us...again, I almost cried! It was a special night for us for sure and we were so blessed to have this opportunity to be on the stage on that night. Thank you, ALA! Also thanks for the duct tape when my obi came off in the greenroom. |

Jan 8, Sunday
 Tama, Mikarin and Takeriya _hagi, with Music department people  Momotama live!  After Momotama concert shot 日曜日になってもやはり駐車場を探すのは大変でした。でも、なんとなり、午前中に二つのパネルに行きました。「コスチューム作り上級編」と、「猫とコスプレの人々」の二つです。コス作りでは、型紙の合わせ方についての詳しい説明が聞けて大変勉強に。そして、猫とコスプレイヤー。。。猫とアニメファン。。。なんともユニークなパネルです。愛猫たちが布や糸にどのような反応をしめしているのか、どのようにペット対策をしてコスを作っているのか、ということがメインの討論点なのですが、結局どれほど自分の猫がかわいいのか、の自慢大会になってきて、みな爆笑です。とても楽しかったです。そして、その後、地元のボカロファングループによる自作ボカロコンサートもありました。 Sunday, still was hard to park but we still got in : ). We hit two panels in the morning. "Advance Costume Making" and "Cosplay and Cats." Advance costume making panel was great for me to learn about pattern modification, and Cosplay and cat panel was super cute! And we watched Voklet's vocaloid concert! 午後2時半からはいよいよ、Momotama2度目のコンサートです。ALA最後の音楽プログラムということでしたが、セッティングも金曜日と変わらずのびのびとでき、サウンドチェックもばっちり。昨日のことが嘘のようです。この日はコンベンションのアクティビティーがほぼ終わっていることもあり、結構たくさんの方々に来ていただけて、大変嬉しかったです。みんな、楽しんでくれたかな？ こうして、コンサート2本とパネル、そしてマスカレードパフォーマンスを盛り込んだ私たちのALAでのアクティビティーは終わりました。ALAで私たちに携わり、助けてくださった方々、本当にありがとうございました。また、こんな私たちを楽しいと言って支えてくださったアニメファンの皆様、コスプレーヤーの皆様、ありがとうございます。そして、ここで特別に、音楽プログラムのデンゼル・ウォルクス氏、そしてALAきっての偉大なパーソナリティ、タダオ・トモマツ氏に、多大な感謝をささげたいと思います。ありがとうございました。 2:30 pm, ALA had last music performance that was Momotama, TAMA and Mikarin!. Even we were the last group, the scheduling for the music was very good and smooth so we still had plenty of time to set up and check the sound and started our concert very comfortably. By this time, most of the convention activity has slowed down so more people came and spent time with us. WE were so happy! I really hope eveyone had a good time in Momotama concert. This is the end of my activities in ALA. I really didn't think I could do all these thing but everything has passed by so fast :o. Thank you to all the staff people of ALA who helped us in varieous programs. Thank you for the warm support that anime fans and cosplayers in ALA gaive to us. And special thanks to Mr. Denzel Walkes in music program department and to Mr. Tadao Tomomatsu, the master of celemony in masquerade. |
