This is the fun project for two of us to cosplay covering 5 different priests
and sisters from the series Trinity Blood;
Abel, Havel, Hugue, Kate and Esther.
So two of us have different combinations at different cosplay occasions.
Please see us in the local cons hanging out in the cosplay areas or dare
to try to run some performance projects in masquerades or karaoke events.
Our current costumes besides Trinity Blood

This web page is for the people who are wondering what we are (especially
at cons). Yeah, this is for you!
Basically two of us, Mikarin (Takeriya Karin) and Hagi (Takeriya_Hagi),
are the cosplay unit "Takeriya Samurai" and we are located in
So. Cal. Mikarin's debut con is Ani-Magic 2004, and Hagi's debut con is
Also Ani-Magic back in 2006. Since we have been visiting local cons and
gatherings with our crazy costumes ><
As cosplayers, we do:
1. Make costumes of our favorite
manga/anime/game/novel characters
2. Perform in costumes in any given opportunity,
for now mostly in masquerades in anime conventions. We do skits and vocal
performances
3. Take photos of costumes to create the
visual images and also we take photos for the improvement of our costumes.
We cosplay mostly Trinity Blood stuff but we DO cosplay from other series
as well, also we collaborate with other cosplayers and cosplay groups to
run projects as well.

Takeriya Samurai Reference links
Mikarin has been playing piano and singing her whole life; in fact,
vocal training was what brought her to Los Angeles. While attending Ani-Magic ’04,
Mikarin began to realize the beauty and joy of cosplay as an art form
expressing Japanese culture. Two years later at Ani-Magic ’06, she was given
not only Best in Show but also the Judge’s Award from Vic Mignogna, who loved
her costumes, audio track, and singing. Since then, Mikarin has strived to be
the best costumer she can be. This year she has won major craftsmanship awards
at Anime LA, Anime Expo, and Otakon.
